He is survived by: his wife Patricia Joan McCarthy; his daughters, Patti Steffen (Gary), Vicki Steffen (Phil) and Wanda Loewen (Dan); his grandchildren, Jen Hazer (Brian), Nicole Turnis (Brian), Bernard, Amanda Trumm (Jim), Brooke LaChance (Jake) of Deerfield, WI, Bridgette Steffen, Shane Steffen (Tiffany), Jesse Loewen (Traci), Lee Symonds (Ben), Ely, Tanner Loewen (Cortney) and Cale Loewen (Micaela); his siblings, Arnita Erickson and Verlyn Schmitt; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Hammerand, Mary Smith, Bob Erickson, Bill McCarthy (Alice), Bob McCarthy (Doreen), Orland McCarthy (Melita), Lorraine Walsh (Red), Justin McCarthy (Mary Jane), Ann Heacock (Louie), Eileen McCarthy and Arvel Smith.
