She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Beil and Eleanor Beil (Meyer). She is survived by: her children, Bill Weick (Alice) of Dubuque, Betty Coop of Lockridge, IA, Kathleen Nugent (Pete) of Leawood, KS and Knute Weick (Wendy) of St. Charles, IL; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher Nugent (Sarah) of Lenexa, KS, Katie Pilcher (Jake) of Fairfield, IA and Madison Weick of St. Charles, IL; her great grandchildren, Gabby Nugent, Felicity Nugent, Alleigh Pilcher and Sawyer Pilcher; and her brother Richard Sturman (Marge). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Elaine.
