With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward J. Lakatosh of Dubuque, Iowa, born in Slatington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 11, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lakatosh and Cora Lakatosh (Valora); his former wife Lillian; his wife Joan; and his siblings, Joe Lakatosh Jr., Robert Lakatosh, Dean Lakatosh Sr. and Denton Lakatosh.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Jr. Lakatosh (Mary) of Walnutport, PA and Jenmarie Lakatosh; his stepchildren, Mary Flynn, James Saul (Kim), Steve Saul (Paula) and Jeff Saul (Stephanie); his brothers, Dale Lakatosh Sr. and David Lakatosh Sr.; and his sister-in-law Sally Boynton (Julie Breitsprecker). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren.
He was an avid hunter and was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
