It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Schiel of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph A. Siegert and Clara Siegert (Udelhoven); her former husband Robert R. Frank; her husband Eldon Schiel; her grandson Robert McKernan; her great grandchild Emma; and her siblings, Walter Siegert (Clara), Earl Siegert (Loraine), Joseph Siegert (Boots), Leonard Siegert (Ann), Marie Kress (Joseph), Eileen Bahl (Vincent) and Rita Schmitt (Charles).

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Frank (Sheila) of Dubuque, David Frank (Tina) of Trinidad, CO, Dan Frank (Sue) of Dubuque, Debra Crumrine of Dubuque, Diane Drozda (Brian) of Asbury and Donna McMahon (Leo) of Dubuque; her stepchildren, Virginia Reinhard (Phil) of Rockford, Robert Schiel of South Carolina and Jane LaBee (Jim) of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Tricia Leusmen (Junior), Jason Frank, Andy Frank, Marty Frank (Brittni), Lisa Frank, Lora Halfhill (Kevin), Travis, Brent Crumrine, Brian Frank, Mike McKernan (Maryann), Philip McKernan (Jenni), Daniel McMahon (Carmen) and Kayla Freese (Travis); her granddaughter-in-law Wendy McKernan; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Lainey, Grace, Gavin, Darnell, Lydia, Colin, Carter, Cooper, Morgan, Liam, Jordan, Logan, Elliott, Maxwell, Jax, Tucker and Jade.
