He is survived by: his wife Elaine Welu of Dubuque; his children, Edmund Welu (Lori) of Dubuque, Michael Welu (Tamie) of Monfort, WI, Jennifer Smith (James Dixon) of Dubuque, Kenneth Welu (Shelley) of Dubuque and Jessica Albaugh (Daniel) of Linden, WI.; his grandchild Chris Welu (Katie); his children, Brandon (Jill), Brent, Blake Welu, Ryan (Rachael), Evan Smith (Rachelle), Dustin, Bailey Welu, Isaac and Griffin Albaugh; his great grandchildren, Dean and Evelyn; and his sisters, Barbara Barton and Linda Washburn (David).
