He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Hummel (Hummel) and Charles Laue. He is survived by: his children, Eleanor G. "Nora" Laue of Saline, MI and Edmund J. "Eddie" Laue of Dubuque, IA; and the mother of his children Mary Ellen Laue.
He requested that donations be sent to the Dubuque Regional Humane Society or any non-kill shelters local to his loved ones.
