She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Feldman and Helen Feldman (Hayes); her husband Ronald J. McCarthy; her daughter Julie Gentz; her daughter-in-law Gina McCarthy; and her siblings, Rose Decker, Rita Devaney and Elmer "Joe" Feldman.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Setter (Greg) of Austin, TX, Maryann McCarthy of Fenton, MO, Ron McCarthy (Jayne) of Newton, IA, Janet McCarthy of Cedar Falls, IA, Mark McCarthy (Kathy) of Dubuque and Lisa McCarthy of Dubuque; and her grandchildren, Amy Setter (Seth), Eric Meyer (Sara), Shannon Sizemore (Gage), Jillian Weldon (Jerry), Nathan McCarthy (Kaylan), Matt McCarthy (Savannah), Tony McCarthy (Meagan) and Nicole McCarthy. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
