She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Fischer and Mary Fischer (Johnson); her husband Eldon J. Ruden; her children, Jeff "Jeep" Ruden and Jane Ruden; her son-in-law George Giannakouros; and her siblings, Donald Fischer (Del), Bill Fischer (Ann), Marie Kass (Alfred), Jack Fischer, Rosemary Strohmeyer, Paul Fischer, Albert Fischer (Vicky), Earl Fischer (Mary) and Bernadine Krozaizl.
She is survived by: her children, Dave Ruden (Rita), Joyce Giannakouros and Dennis Ruden; and her siblings-in-law, Dick Strohmeyer, Doris and Rita Fischer. She is also survived by her 14 Grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Nativity (1224 Alta Vista St, Dubuque, IA 52001). A wake will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003).
