Schmaltz Sr.; her children, Rich Schmaltz Jr. (Angela), West, Maria Stephenson (Dan) of Normal, IL, Tanya Lex (Doug) of Dubuque, Steven Schmaltz (Missy) of Prior Lake, MN and Sonya Waldorf (Steve) of Middleton, WI; her grandchildren, Caitlin Tedford (Robin), Hannah Smith (Alex), Morgan Olsen (Matt), Madeline Glancy (Sam), Mikhayla Schmaltz, Clarissa Stephenson, Patrick Stephenson, Connor Stephenson, Kaylee Lex, Nathan Lex, Ryan Lex, Trevor Schmaltz, Tyler Schmaltz, Nicholas Waldorf, Nolan Waldorf and Adeline Waldorf; her great grandchildren, Kit, Hadley, Declan, Rory, Maeve and Amir; her brothers, Tom Timmerman (Elaine) of Hazel Green, WI, Joe Timmerman of Dickeyville, WI and Peter Timmerman (Joyce) of Dubuque; and her sisters-in-law, Alice Trigg (Terry) of San Jose, CA and Karen Timmerman of Kieler, WI..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (2001 St Joseph St, Dubuque, IA 52001).
