She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Addie (Breisacher) and Donald M. Brace; her husband John K. Christiansen; her sister-in-law Barbara Dooley (Don); and her granddaughter Norah Christine Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Shimkus (Michael) of Dubuque, IA, Susan Jones (Quenten) of Jay, VT and Jonathan Christiansen of Pleasant Hill, IA; her grandchildren, Anwyn Jones, Eleana Shimkus and Winston Shimkus; her sister Sandra Jaques; and her nieces and nephews, Gayle Jaques, Katherine Klump, Dell Dooley (Joan), Doug Dooley (Ginny) and Debra Christiansen.
