It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna G Flynn of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on May 19, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Urbain and Irene Urbain (Casey); her husband John J. Flynn; her parents-in-law, William and Mathilda Flynn; her daughter Debra Viertel; her sisters, JoAnn Adams, Mary Lassance, Elaine Decker and Monica O'Brien; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Urbain, Betty Sobieski (Flynn), Jeannie Casaccio (Flynn), Mary Flynn, Madonna Flynn, Dave Lassance, Lloyd Sweeney, Leonard Sobieski and Melvin Flynn; and her daughter-in-law Jeanne.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Flynn (Sally) of Hayden, Terry Flynn (Lesley) of Dubuque, Tom Flynn of Ft. Collins, Jim Flynn (Debbie) of Decorah, Bill Flynn (Stephanie) of Dubuque and Jenny Kelley (Chris) of Dubuque; her son-in-law Dennis Viertel; her siblings, Jerome Urbain, Jane Sweeney, Nora Cottrell (Bruce) and Ellen Lindauer; and her brothers-in-law, Joe O'Brien and Gus Casaccio. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A Donna Flynn Memorial Fund has been established.
