He is survived by: his children, Duane Ernster (Tami) of Dubuque, Denise Reeve of Dubuque and Susan Ernster; his granddaughters, Sara Ernster, Emily Ernster and Marie Ernster; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Wubben, Willie Thul and Ray Thul (Pat); and also Harry Ernster, Jr. of Dubuque.
