It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Deborah Kay Shurts (Dubuque, Iowa), who passed away at the age of 74, on November 2, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elmer and Elizabeth Ann Shimp; and her husband David Michael Shurts. She is survived by: her son Jordan Shurts (Kristina Erickson) of Dubuque; and her sister Judith Gatena of Dubuque.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Holden Cancer Center at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
