He was predeceased by: his parent Kelley; his grandparents, Marilyn, Alberta and Edwin Lattner; his uncles, Edward Lattner and Eugene Davidson; his aunt Linda Biddick; and his nephews, Harold and Garrett Meester.
He is survived by: his mother Diane Maiers (Lattner) of Dubuque; his wife Diane Jimenez; his stepsons, Donald Jr. and Alex; his siblings, Laura Herman (Lloyd) of Asbury, IA, Jolyn Meester (Geoff) of Attleboro, MA, Marty Maiers (Tanya) of Dubuque, IA and Chris "Bear" Maiers (Kim) of Dubuque, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Laney Herman, Tanner Drish, Jack Meester, Jillian, Gwen and Tate Maiers. He is also survived by uncle to his nieces & nephews.
