She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Connor Callahan and Amanda "Min" Callahan (Lehnhoff); her grandson Devon Henkel; her son Jayson Henkel; her siblings, Tony, Pat and Mike; and her siblings-in-law, Jean, Bob, Lee "Butch", Sandra, Marian, Gail and Lonnie.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Henkel of Dubuque; her sons, Nick Henkel of Dubuque and Berry Henkel (Brenda) of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Stephen Henkel of Cuba City, WI, Darien Henkel of Dubuque, Connor Smith-Henkel of Dyersville, IA, Skylar Smith-Henkel of Dyersville, IA and Ty Bartles of Dubuque; her great grandchildren, Alana Lou and Ava; her sister Shelia Dougherty (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Joy White, Richard Henkel, Charles Henkel and James Henkel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hoffmann Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home & Crematory (3860 Asbury Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
