He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Juergens and Mildred Juergens (Gritti); and his brother Richard Juergens. He is survived by: his wife Donna Juergens (Hartnett) of Dubuque; his daughters, Katherine Wolf (Merrill) of Lincolnshire, IL and Julia McKibben (Michael) of New Lenox, IL; his grandchildren, Andrew, Charlie Wolf, Maddie and Jillian McKibben; his siblings, Ronald Juergens (Sharon), James Juergens (Debra), Larry Juergens, Barbara Juergens-Scully (Peter), Connie Juergens and Janet O'Brien (Tim); and his sister-in-law Chollie Juergens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Izaak Walton League Dubuque Chapter, DubuqueLand Pheasants Forever, and Hospice of Dubuque.
