He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Fahey and Mary Fahey (Bauer); and his brothers, Bernard Fahey (Alberta), John Fahey (Nadine), Robert Fahey, Richard Fahey (Kate) and William Fahey (MaryEllen).
He is survived by: his spouse Marion Wiedner; his children, Mary K. Fahey of Dubuque, Timothy Fahey of Dubuque and Nora Kafer of Dubuque; his grandson Daniel Kafer (Allyson Ochs); and his sisters, Lorraine Didesch (Richard), Eileen Schueller (Lester), Mary Danzer (Stanley) and Florence George (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church of Dubuque.
