She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Oppelt and Doris Oppelt (Sackmaster); her husband John H. Kraus; her son David; her siblings, Peter, Margaret, John, Robert, Lorraine Strief, Carl and Carol Schueller; and her in-laws, Josephine Oppelt, Darrell Strief, LeRoy Weidemann and Jerry Schueller.
She is survived by: her sister Lois Weidemann of Dubuque; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Oppelt and Diann Oppelt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
