She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hansen and Helen Hansen; her husband Martin A Burds, Jr.; her siblings, Shirley Busch (Charles Sr.) and Raymond Hansen (Anna Mae); and her sons-in-law, Joel Johnson and Peter Coy.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Noonan (Tom), Penny Coy, Linda Johnson, Perry Burds (Lori) and Heidi Steach; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Drew, Katherine, Mackenzie, Cade and Marissa; and her siblings, Marilyn Nauman (Kenneth), Virgil (Jeannie) and Duane Hansen (Peggy).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Cathedral of St. Raphael (231 Bluff St, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
