She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Nennig and Helen Nennig (Keppler); her former husband Cyril W. Oswald; her sister Ruth Mary Whitters (Cyril W. Oswald); and her husband Albert J "Duke" Defendi.
She is survived by: her children, Kristina Clausen (Jason) of Waukee and Brian Oswald (Teri Collins) of Des Moines, Iowa.; her grandchildren, Madison and Zachary; her brother John Nennig (Teresa) of Independence, Iowa; and her brother-in-law William Whitters.
