He was predeceased by: his great-uncles, Jim Clemenson and Steve Golinvaux. He is survived by: his parents, Ryan McGovern and Erin McGovern (Boxleiter); his brother Chase McGovern; his grandparents, Dave, Sherry Boxleiter (Anthony), Donald and Julie McGovern (Tangeman); his aunt Aimee Schmidt (Tim); his uncle Kevin McGovern (Jenna Eason); his cousin Henry Schmidt; and his caregivers, Cade, Sheila Frascht, Karen Johnson, Kayla Tate, Tucker and Dr. Shilpa Balikai. He is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa, the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's hospital or a children's charity of your choice.
