It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Lee Hattula of Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bobby Lee Hattula to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hattula and Margaret Hattula (Kramer); his stepfather Robert Hancock; his siblings, Charles, Bill, Sharon and Joy; his in-laws, Richard and Darlene Witt; his siblings-in-law, Dwayne Paul, Carl Paterson, David Myer and Cynthia Witt; his niece Deb Perkins; and his nephews, Russell Paul, Larry, Tony Price and Devon Lessman.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Witt; his children, Amanda Trotman, Heidi Pickering (TJ) and William Hattula (Jennifer Sheldon); his grandchildren, Nickolas, Jackson, Maxwell, Alyssa, Bridget and Abigail; and his siblings, Mary, Pat, Karl, John, Rick (Sue Witt), Robert (Teri Elmer), David (Cathy Price), Chad (Barb Lessman), Willie (Tammy Love), Mike Witt, Randy (Sarah Witt) and Nate (Stephanie Swalve). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (2025 Jackson St, Dubuque, IA 52001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial for Bobby Hattula has been established.
