She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Mae Smith of Sherrill, IA.; her children, Michael Fishnick Jr. and Tonya Duffy; and her in-laws, Bernard and Edna Fishnick.

She is survived by: her husband Mike (Mike); her daughter Jamie Ryan (Toby); her grandchildren, Alan Duffy (Susan), Nate Duffy (Marija), Levi, Trent Ryan, Morgan Duffy and Aunna Ryan; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Stellan and Nikola Duffy; and her siblings-in-law, Patrick Fishnick Sr. and Kim Fishnick. She is also survived by two brothers and numerous brother in-laws, sister in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers of Betty A. Fishnick memorial fund has been established.
