He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Murphy and Rose Murphy (Marcue); his wife Mary Beth Small; his children, Matt (Emily Potter), Josh (Ashley Sieverding) and Hanna Nash; his grandchildren, Max, Lili, Tyler, Rylie, Avery, Braxton, Abby, Lincoln, Scarlett and Lavina; his siblings, Michelle Murphy, Tim, Lynda Murphy and Bruce Murphy; his siblings-in-law, Steve, LuAnn Small, Joe, Jane Small, Deb, Dave Schroeder, Sue and Mike Ludwig; and his parents-in-law, Leslie and Betty Small.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
