It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Fuerst of Dubuque, Iowa, born in Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lumry and Edna Lumry (Engler); her husband LeRoy Fuerst; her aunt Clara Engler; her brother William; her cousins, Chris Goedken of Dyersville and Clarence Engler of Mary Knoll, NY; and her stepgranddaughter Allie Morgan.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Fuerst (Linda) of Dubuque, Thomas Fuerst (Pam) of Redwood City and Daniel of Menomonee Falls; her granddaughter Ellyse Fuerst of Dubuque; her stepgrandchildren, Reece Morgan (Harmony) of Dubuque, Rachel Swets (Michael) of Hartford and Zachary Morgan of Dubuque; and her cousins, Carlyn Hunt of Edgewood, Luetta Bornhouser of Dubuque and Marge Olberding of Dyersville, Iowa.. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established in memory of Anne for the Dubuque County Right to Life and the Clarity Clinic.
