He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank H. Bahl and Hilda M. Bahl (Maiers); his siblings-in-law, Arlene Bahl and James Baal; and his nephews, Randy Bahl and Jami Baal.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Brockman (Mark), Carrie Miller (Steve Vedner) and Brian Bahl (Amy); his grandchildren, Michael Bahl (Abbey), Breanne Morgan, Leah Kroeger, Collin Malin, Austin Schwendinger (Katlyn), Carli and Sophi Hulsizer; his siblings, John "Jack" Bahl, Keith Bahl (Jane) and Mary Lou Baal; and the mother of his children Doris Frost. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, an Al Bahl memorial fund has been established.
