With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jones of Drakesville, Iowa, born in Unionville, Iowa, who passed away on March 10, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James R. Garner and Zella Hopkins Garner; her husband Elmer Ray Jones; and her brothers, Alfred Garner and James Albert Garner (Ruth Garner).

She is survived by : her children, Randy Jones (Becky) of Drakesville, IA, Connie White (Doug) of Bloomfield, IA, Bruce Jones (Heidi) of Drakesville, IA and Brenda Wilsey (Grant) of Rush City, MN.; her grandchildren, Keelie Haner (Luke) of Elkhorn, NE, Dia Fenton (Jason), Brandi Shively (Stewart), Boyd White, Betsy Gibson (Nathan), Alyssa Closser (Bob), Holly Glosser (Jason), Ashley Tharp (Jeremy), Nicole Stewart (Brett), Ross Jones (Chelsey), Danielle Wilsey, Grant Jacob Wilsey and Brooke Wilsey; her great grandchildren, Allyson, Jacob Haner of Elkhorn, NE, Sydney, Sophie, Sadie, Sutton Shively, Easton, Mayci White, Jenna, Renea, Alexa Gibson, Tyler, Myles, Ayden, Bella Closser, Landon, Lance Glosser, Chloe, Addyson, Jase Tharp, Emelia, Brooks Stewart, Myah, Jaxtyn and Ensley Jones; and her sister-in-law Gloria Garner of Bloomfield, IA. She is also survived by four children.

At the request of the family, please wear a mask at the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Drakesville United Methodist Church or the Davis County Dollars for Scholars to establish a Scholarship in Betty's name.
