It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norman Dale Peyton of Dows, Iowa, who passed away on November 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Peyton and Elaine Peyton (Moore); his wife Carlene Schager; his parents-in-law, C. B. and Ruby Schager; and his siblings-in-law, Craig Schager, Linda Schager, Evadne Schager and Frank Castino.
He is survived by: his son Flint Peyton (Judy) of Keokuk; his grandchild Ryan Horner; his great grandchild Kendra; his grandchildren, Erica Shipe, Brenden, Jordan, Max and Ashley Hinkle (Zach); his great grandchildren, Austin and Sophia of Kansas City; his daughter Kristin Peyton (James Strohman) of Ames; his grandson Isaac Strohman (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Ava of Des Moines, Ambrose Strohman of Des Moines, Stella Maris Strohman of Des Moines and Endylion Strohman of Des Moines; his siblings, Bill Peyton (Sondra) and Mary Castino; and his siblings-in-law, Amber Jill Schager and Roger Schager. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, attendance at visitation will be limited to 15 indoors and 30 outdoors at all times. Those in attendance are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted and directed to First Lutheran Church in Dows, Dows United Methodist Church, Dows Community Center, Dows Lion's Club, and Dows American Legion.
