She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Thompson and Lillie Thompson (Strum); her husband Bernard Russell; her brother Lyle Thompson; and her grandchild JT Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Russell (Jeanne) of Dows, David Russell (Janice) of Williams, Don Russell of Grapevine and Jane Plahn (Clay) of La Salle, Colorado; her grandchildren, Denise Froehlich (Chad), Clint Russell (Erin), Michael Russell, Nathan Plahn (Regina), Erin Russell, Jeff Plahn and Mary Murphy (Tyler); her sister Elsie Smith; and her sister-in-law Beverly Thompson. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
