She was predeceased by: her parents, William John and Leona Mae Sherer (Rhutasel); her husband George Edward Schuler; her siblings, Lavonne Grice, Howard, Jack, Bill and Duane Sherer; her niece Vicki Terveer; and her nephews, Michael Sherer and Terry Grice.
She is survived by: her children, Jolene Cronin (Charlie) of Oklahoma, Glenn Schuler (Bev) of Osage, Iowa, Rhonda Lawson (Brad) of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Rodney Schuler (Nancy) of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Becky Wilson (Rick) of Iowa Falls, Iowa and Barry Schuler (Marcia) of Boone, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Freda Sherer. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
