He is survived by: his wife Linda Murdock of Douds; his stepchildren, Ryan Horak (Cat) of Cedar Rapids and Brandie Metcalf (David) of Douds; his siblings, Mike Nicklin (Rebecca) of Boseman, MT, Dan Nicklin of Ankeny and Marcia Nicklin (David Stern) of Italy; and his stepgrandchildren, Nolan, Brinley Horak, CarryE and Daniel Metcalf.
