It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy L. Canaday (Douds, Iowa), who passed away on September 23, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Canaday and Fern Scearcy Canaday; his son Mark Canaday; his granddaughter Briana Canaday; and his siblings, Eileen Kunzman, Clarence Canaday, Lucille Fletcher, Velma Brady and Earl Canaday.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Canaday; his children, Todd Canaday (Kandi) of Ottumwa and Kim Long of Ottumwa; and his daughter-in-law Amy Canaday of Malta, Illinois. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Roy's honor may be made to the Iowa City Veteran's Hospital or Christ United Methodist Church in Douds, Iowa.
