She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Winsell and Minnie Goehring Winsell; her son Randall Wells; and her sisters, Wilma Davis, Phyllis Connelly and Doris Winsell.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Wells of Douds, IA; her children, Robbin Gallegos of Des Moines, IA, Rick Wells (Amy) of Douds, IA and Dan Wells (Lori) of Douds, IA; her grandchildren, Gavin Gallegos, Randy Wells, Christian Wells, Benjamin Wells, Hannah Wells and Sarah; and her siblings, Bill Winsell (Deb) of Ridgeway, IA and Midge Arnold (Jim) of Oelwein, IA.
Memorial contributions in Lila's honor may be directed to the Lebanon United Methodist Church or to the Mt. Moriah Cemetery Association.
