He is survived by: his mother Mary Ironside; his wife Deborah Ironside (Koutny); his children, Matthew (Sonya) of Swisher, Mark (Samantha) of Swisher, Carolyn Siebrecht (Jason) of Cedar Rapids and Timothy of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Dylan Ironside, Grace, Hannah, Maggie Ironside, McKenna, Sydney Wilson, Bailey Siebrecht, Mercedes, Melanie, Mary and Maddelyn Ironside; and his siblings, Bill Ironside (Joan), John Ironside (Deb), Nancy Cole (Kent) and Julie Jacobs (Tom). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed in Joe's honor to Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.
