With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Edward Loeffler (Douds, Iowa), born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on April 3, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Loeffler and Isabel Loeffler; his sister Norma Ramsey; his brother-in-law Jim Ramsey; and his parents-in-law, Bob and Dorothy Poole.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Poole of Birmingham, IA; his children, Marni Starnes (Brian) of Douds, IA, Korby Loeffler (Kelly) of Keosauqua, IA and Kully Loeffler (Amanda) of Keosauqua, IA; his grandchildren, Brayden, Brycen Starnes, Owen, Izaak, Ava, Landry and Aubrey Loeffler; his sister Janet Smith (Bobbie) of Birmingham, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Poole (Sharon), Kirby Poole (Penny) and Shelly Huffman (Tony).
Memorial contributions in Gary's honor may be directed to the Zion Bible Church or to the Van Buren Sports Boosters.
