He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schulte and Mary "Mayme" Schulte (Connor); his grandson Mike McCabe; his daughter-in-law Monica Schulte; his siblings, Clarence, Vincent, Joseph, Hank, Lawrence, Bernard, Mathew Schulte, Mary Gavin and Theresa Schulte; his parents-in-law, John and Mary McCormick; and his siblings-in-law, John Joe McCormick and Theresa McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Schulte of Dorchester; his children, Diane McCabe (John) of Cresco, Debbie Connor (Jack) of La Crosse, WI, Gwen Walleser (Tim) of Janesville, WI, Reyne Knutson (Les) of Chatfield, MN, Jan of Eagan, MN, Kenny of Eagan, MN, Don Schulte of Eagan, MN and Amy White (Carl) of Rochester, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Jim McCormick (Karen), Marlene Dorn (Tom) of Weatherford, TX and Jeanette McCormick of Waukon. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
