It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Stanley Straka of Dorchester, Iowa, born in Cedar, Minnesota, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Emily; his parents, Paul Straka and Libbie Straka (Vojt); and his siblings, Vera Kucera, Clyde and Joseph Straka.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Haugse (Haugse); his daughters, Ana Larive (Kevan) of Grimes, IA, Stacy Linderbaum (Luther) of Dorchester, IA, Amy Lenning (Brian) and Ogden of Iowa; and his grandchildren, Jayme Lenning of Perry, IA, Jacob Lenning of Boone, IA, Lily Lenning and Ogden of Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital.
