She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter and Frances; her husband Ervin; her siblings, Dick, Richard, Garret, Peter Jr. and Geraldine Vande Vegte; and her granddaughter Cristina Lee Laackmann.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Oldenkamp (Dean) of Sheldon, Iowa, Judy Burrell of Key West, Florida, Ervin Laackmann Jr. of Waseca, Minnesota and David Laackmann (Denise) of Doon, Iowa. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
