With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Blankespoor (Doon, Iowa), born in Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on August 15, 2018 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Walt Groeneweg; her father-in-law John H. Blankespoor; her nephew Brock Kleinwolterink; and her brother-in-law Brad Wehrkamp. She is survived by: her husband Henry (Hank); her children, Dexter Blankespoor (Hannah) of Rock Valley, Brett Blankespoor (Megan) of Brandon and Levi Blankespoor (Mandy) of Hull; her grandchildren, Roman John, Brinlee Rae, Pierce Liam, Jakson James, Brielle Janae and Jaycee Joelle; her mother Alta Groeneweg; and her brothers, Dennis Groeneweg (Joan) and Leon "Bob" Groeneweg (Cherie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Doon Christian School, Hull Christian School, Netherlands Reformed Christian School, or Robert Bennis Elementary School in Brandon, South Dakota.
