He is survived by: his daughters, Trish Mathis, Jade Steiner and Trishawana Steiner; his siblings, John Mathis Sr., Stanley Mathis (Julie), J. W. Mathis (Ginger), Jacquline Boos and RoseAnn Tulliani (Al); and his sister-in-law Barb Mathis. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
