With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Garner of Donnellson, Iowa, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on July 14, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Garner and Neva Chambers Garner. He is survived by: his children, Shelly Curran of Keokuk, Melissa Mays of Fontana, CA, Troy Garner (Joanne Dixson) of Belton, MO, Kevin Garner (Stevie) of Argyle, IA and Chuck Garner (Jess) of Dysart, IA; his grandchildren, Tyler Mueller (Jenny) of Farmington, IA, Caylie Cherry (Angel) of Montrose, IA, Jordan Mays of Fontana, CA and Alexis Garner of Dysart, IA; his great grandchildren, Ian Martin of Farmington, IA and Rowan Cherry of Montrose, IA.; and his sister Patty Campbell of Marion, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
