He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Jenkins and Martha Jenkins (Maxwell); his brothers, James and Perry; his aunt Vickie Randolph; and his uncle Ervin Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Armstrong; his children, Sasha Rich (Byron) of Fleming Island, Lacey Jenkins of Niota, Elizabeth Thornburg (Kevin) of Donnellson, Iowa and Carlin James, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jordan, Kaidan, Camden, Weston, Jolee, Norah, Ashby, Allison and Carlin; his great grandchild Tobias; and his siblings, Colleen Treece (Steve), Cheryl Hootman, Cecil Barnes, Melvin Easton and Marty Munford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
