She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vincent Sr. Brown and Eva Mae LeClaire Brown; her husband Stanley Deck; her children, Douglas R. Deck of Keokuk and Darcy Swank of Nauvoo, IL; her grandchildren, Eric Boyer, Tyler Boyer and Kelsey Sherburne; and her siblings, Vince Brown, Jr. (Starr) of Des Moines, IA, Tom Brown (Debbie) of Keokuk and Beverly Spencer. She was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
