She was predeceased by: her parents, Guerden Sr. Christensen and Sadie Christensen (Schiller). She is survived by: her husband Gary Schau; her sons, Anthony Schau (Kim) of North Liberty and Jeff Schau (Amy) of Kansas City, Missouri; her grandchild Kia Wagner (Drew) of Tiffin, Iowa; her children, Alexis Schau (Kaden McAreavy) of North Liberty, Hunter Schau of North Liberty and Will Schau of Kansas City, Missouri; her great grandchild Everlee Wagner of Tiffin; and her siblings, Guerden Christensen Jr., Rochelle Cook and Tim Christensen.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schmitz Funeral Homes - Donnellson (211 Madison Ave, Donnellson, IA 52625). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory for the American Legion Auxiliary #474.
