He is survived by: his wife Christine Jeffers; his children, Stacey Good (Jeremy) of Burlington, Elizabeth Orth (Gabe) of Burlington, Sara Mills of Mt. Pleasant, Jenel Wesselink of Burlington and John Robert Howell (Sarah) of Mt. Pleasant; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Strunk of Dallas City, Illinois; and his siblings, Melvin Strunk (Jo) of Donnellson, Dorothy Copeland (Dennis) of Copperas Cove, Willis Strunk (Sheila) of Rockford, Alice Milander (Ben) of Reno, Louise Ballard of Fort Madison and Dennis Strunk of Fort Madison. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
