Lawrence P. Strayer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2023, at the age of 83, Lawrence P. Strayer of Donnellson, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. Strayer and Agnes E. Strayer (Pranger); and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Wittman; his children, Laura Lee Gilkerson (Richard) of Albuquerque and Elliott John Strayer (Chanteé) of Silverdale, Washington; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Parks (Daniel), Kelly Gilkerson (John Craig), Alexander Strayer and Zachary Strayer; his great grandchild Damien Webber; his siblings, Rosanna Smith (Gerald) of Fort Madison, Iowa, David Strayer (Andrea) of Donnellson and James Strayer (Sue) of Donnellson; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Strayer of Donnellson and Arlene Gray of Jerome, Idaho.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in his memory for St. Mary's Catholic Church.
