He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoskins and Ethel Hoskins (Wagner); his stepfather Henry Gerveler; his wife Ruthie; his granddaughter Amanda Ellison; his sister Shirley Marsh (Toby); and his nieces and nephews, Brenda, Polly, Cheryl, Anson, Adam and Danny.
He is survived by: his children, Darla Eaves (Mike) of Donnellson, Iowa and Jeff Hoskins (Mary) of Donnellson, Iowa; his grandsons, Tyler Hoskins (Rachel), Jake Shannon and Jeremy Pickrel (Kristen); and his brothers, Henry "Hank" Gerveler, Everett Gerveler and Earl Gerveler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
