She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen O. Ware and Stella M. Ware (Derr); her sister Lois White (Ivan Bunker) of Wever; and her stepfather Frank Bideaux. She is survived by: her former husband Charles B. Stewart; her children, Marilyn Hulsebus (Marshall) of Donnellson, Iowa and Charles Stewart (Nancy) of Donnellson, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Mark Hulsebus (Leslie), Lauren, Grace and Benjamin; her grandchildren, Mari Anne Ehler (Jurgen), Blake, Zane, Joni Junkins (Jeff), Bill Stewart (Jenny), Kelsie, Cameron, Stacy Stewart, Brayden Jordan, Matthew Hulsebus (Kaley), Kasen and Stella; and her close friends, Larry and Carolyn Geils of Branson, Missouri..
A memorial has been established in her memory to Greenglade Cemetery, University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital or Donnellson Ball Association.
