He is survived by: his children, Renea Farster (Jack) of Donnellson, Sheila Kolling (Michael Shaver) of Des Moines and Alan Wagner (Laura Hoglund) of Machesney Park, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ariel LeMatty (Jason), Allyson Vanek, Jocelyn Vanek and Melissa Vanek; and his stepgrandchildren, Lincoln Hoglund and Adeline Shavers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schmitz Funeral Homes - Donnellson (211 Madison Ave, Donnellson, IA 52625). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
