She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel I. Peel and Pearl Peel (Hanson); her former husband Clifford M. Bogert; her husband Wayne W. Smith; and her sister Virginia Riddle.
She is survived by: her children, John K. Bogert and Janice L. Gobble (Greg); her brother Raymond Peel (Ann); her grandchildren, Vanessa, Shaye, Derek Bogert, Erinne Kensett (Colten), Emma and Garrett Gobble (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Everlee and Carter Kensett; and her stepchildren, Sheryl George and Steve Smith. She is also survived by several step grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Attendees will be required to wear masks and social distance.
A memorial has been established in her memory for St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Donnellson or the Central Lee Foundation.
